What is RSS and Pod-casting?
In the websites we have visited, we have found out that RSS (Really simple syndication) allows us to be updated with latest changes done to websites, pod-casts and news. RSS is useful when we want to receive latest updates events and happenings from a medium. RSS updates are done by software or by browsers such as internet explorer and firefox automatically when those programs are opened. This remove the need for users to check for updates regularly themselves. Podcasting are recorded versions of radio, audio and video programs for playback on devices such as computers, mp3s and other portable media players. The term "podcast" is a portmanteau of the acronym "Pod" – standing for "Portable on Demand" – and "broadcast". The iPod name was coined with Pod, prefixed with the "i" commonly used by Apple for its products and services. The first podcasting scripts were developed for the iPod These scripts allow podcasts to be automatically transferred to a mobile device after they are downloaded A “Podcatching” client is used to check for new podcasting feeds from websites.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Podcasting are very useful in helping us. For example, we can use podcasting software to download music easily. Also, we can watch videos everywhere with playback devices that support podcasts. RSS are useful to us as we do not need to look for updates manually, but instead, these newest updates are automatically downloaded via RSS, thus saving time and effort.

A user just needs to choose the subscription and he will be able to download the programs. In a podcasting world, content is highly regarded and high quality creative content will be instantaneously rewarded by the podcasting community.
