A survey conducted shows that teens will smoke, drink, get drunk and use illegal drugs increases sharply if they are highly stressed, frequently bored or have substantial amounts of spending money. Youths thought that by engaging in these acitivites, they could relieve the stress. But however, they do not know the pontential dangers of drug and alcoholic abuse. Therefore, the community should educate them and teach the appropriate to relieve stress, eg. engaging in outdoor activites, sports and hobbies or simply hanging out with friends and relatives or families. Youths must be able to stop the bad habits and recognise the dangers that may occur if they continue to do so.
