In my experience, I've little knowledge on searching around the Internet. After learning in UIR, I've learnt how to search infomation that I want on the Internet. I've learnt how to extract my sources and know which source is mroe reliable. Searching on the Internet has helped me with my school work, especially projects. I don't have to go to the library to search among thousands of books to find what I want.

Also, I have never done blogging before. UIR allows me to create my first new blog and learn how blogging actually feels like. Blogging allows me to write down what I've learnt and share my own personal views on the learning process with other friends.

Finally, the participation on discussion forums has also given me a whole new experience. I can easily read what others feel and reply them. It's good to see others sharing different comments or views so that there's something to discuss about. Sharing comments can also bring us to another study topic. So I think that forums are very useful.
